GE T 8 bulbs

Hi does anyone use this bulb GE T8 or standard fixture bulbs, aqua-rays. The ones fron Petsmart are no good, I need something with more white light, the fixture is only a 18 inch one on top of a reg 20 gallon tank, with low light plants. I knoe that is not much but now the bulb is dimmer than before. My anubias though just had an extra leaf grow out of it ! I also have red or olive wendii, and java fern=moss. thanks...
