Finally got it all planted yesterday. My wife finally let me buy the rest of my plants. Any suggestions on moving stuff before it gets all settled in.

Dwarf four leaf clover -- front right (hard to see but have some new growth)
Staurogyne repens -- front left (getting some new growth)
Narrow leaf java fern -- in front of the three stones
Java fern -- back right
Crytocoryne lutea -- middle and left
Anubias sp. (bought at petco, lost all leaves but one) -- front
Ludwigia repens -- back middle (newly added)
Lace leaf water sprite -- back left (newly added)
Corkscrew val -- back left (newly added)
Duckweed -- floating

5x golden white cloud mountain minnow
Annoying pond snails (suck them out as I see them)

Cool set up! Btw your water sprite is about to go crazy!!! The tank will be covered in a mass of that stuff soon! Looking forward to seeing how this fills in.

Yeah I am excited to see how it fills in, I ended up moving the powerhead and turning it on its side on the right side of the tank and also moved some of the ludwigia more the the back and had some small java ferns and moved those to the front. It has been planted for about a month now with some of the stuff but I think in a couple of months it is going to take off.

Well I changed a couple things around the day after I got it all set up. So far it has been a week since I planted everything. Added a DIY spray bar and a sponge. Was getting annoyed by the bubbles from the powerhead. Getting a lot of new growth with everything.

Looks good so far! How did you connect the PVC from the spray bar to the powerhead output side?

I looks to me that the Powerhead was connected to the PVC with some tubing. 3/4"?

BTW, I LOVE how you did that!

Used some tubing and some elbows. I know the size of the PVC is 1/2" for the spray bar but took me a while to find the right pieces to get it all connected. I tried a lot of different stuff and was really hoping to find some clear plastic pipe instead of the white but couldn't find anything that would work. I am hoping the plants will cover up a majority of it, that is why I placed the water sprite there so it will go crazy and cover up that back corner.

Nice. What is the piece of PVC on the intake of the powerhead?

That is just 1/2" PVC also. I used to have a bottle with some filter floss in it but didn't really like the look of it and didn't like cleaning it out (it would really polish off the water though), changed it to a sponge and drilled a bunch of holes in the PVC so that the sponge filters the water.

Well I ended up getting rid of the spray bar. I really did like the spread of current throughout the tank but was getting some film on the top of the water. Really needed something to break the surface as just agitation wasn't good enough. On a good note, since I don't have a hob filter, I just add air to my powerhead and the fish are liking the extra oxygen.
