Staurogyne repens

Anyone have any luck growing this in a low-light low-tech tank? I have 14W T5NO X 2 over a 28 gal tank and dose a half dose of either flourish Comp or API Leaf Zone, alternating weekly. I also use root tabs under the rooted plants and a half dose of Flourish Excel daily.

I've got mine emersed and it's slow. It's in top soil.

I had it in a 4g under Finnex 26w CFL light, surface covered with floaters, no co2, no ferts, no water changes - grew pretty slow with ~1/2" inernodes.

All kinds of people grow it in all kinds of setups. Check out some of the tank journals here on the forum.

I grow a lot in a medium light covered in duckweed tank. It looks nice and green but the growth on it is minimal with little runners. It takes a while to adapt to low tech from hi tech and vice versa so I had a month of dying yellow leaves with it. Ill put a picture on here later when I get home

I have it in my 3 gal with aquasoil, no co2 and only occasional dry ferts and finnex fugeray clip light. It has formed a dense nice carpet. The one thing i think that helped greatly is the aquasoil.
