165W Dimmable LED Black Box

I'm looking at setting up a 40 gallon planted tank, with Co2. I already have this on my reef tank, I'm about to sell off. Will this light work with plants? It has two separate channels so I can turn down the blue lights and leave the full spectrum up. Or would I be better off with something like a finnex?

I have the same fixture on my 18"cube clown folwr. The white channel alone is a little to warm for marine tanks but it should look pretty decent over plants. I don't see it being too dim at all, these lights can be pretty intense (I'm sure you know that by now).

I'd give it a try first and see how it works out before shelling out more cash on a potentially unneeded purchase.

My only concern would be light coverage for the length of the 40b.
