Its a 9w normal led light that we normally use at home.. And its on for at least 10 hours.

Your going to want to reduce your light to as little as 6 hours a day. You can split it into two photoperiods (morning and evening). According to D Walstad, this helps with algae but it has been debated on this forum. The color temp you want is natural daylight (6500k). If you Google the light, you should be able to find out what the color temp is. A 9w LED is pretty bright for a smaller tank without co2.
You may want to raise the light higher or look at other options for lighting if you want to stay low-tech
