Finnex 24/7 and algae input

So now that the 24/7 has been out for a while, how is everyone doing with algae? I run it on a 38 gal tank with pressurized co2. I love the light, but I think it may be causing BBA. However, I can't say for sure so I wanted to see what other peoples' experiences are using the 24/7 mode.

I'm on week 7 with a 48" light on a 75 gal. Dose Excel every other day, no algae to speak of.

I had to quit using the 24/7 mode on my 120g (48 x 24 x 24) due to algae outbreaks. BBA, hair algae, and green spot algae all began popping up with it.

I've switched to turning it on at 6-7 AM (whenever I wake up) and turning it off around 6 pm, along with increasing my dose of Excel and it has decreased greatly.

I also have a 24" Planted+ and 24" Sat+ supplementing the back 1/2 of the tank on a 6 hour timer.

I have the 30" fixture on a 20 gallon long, running full 24/7 mode for almost two months now. I was worried about the possibility of algae issues too, but none so far.

On my 40B, 36", no algae being on my tank since end of August on 24/7 mode.
I feel that I need more light and might switch it to max although I like the cycling...

well, I guess I must be doing something wrong then, sounds like i'm the only one that had significant increases in algae with 24/7 mode.

time to tinker with the co2 and fert levels I guess
