Yep. You need the Kessil Apex Control Cable (or diy your own), and it takes two VarSpd channels -- one for spectrum, one for intensity. You can build ramping curves for both using the wizard in Fusion.
@nonliteral
Or
Anyone that may know.
I am not good at DIY...lol
What would I need to purchase for the Apex to control the 2 kessil A160we Tuna Sun's?
Modules, connections etc...?
Thank you
Assuming you've got two variable speed ports available (the base unit has four of them on two connectors, labeled "V1/V2" and "V3/V4") then you don't need any modules. If you're already using those, or if you have a Jr or Lite that doesn't have them, then you'll need a VDM module (aka "Variable Speed Pump Control Module").
You'll need at least one Kessil "Type 1" control cable. If you've got two lights, you can use two of these cables (and four variable speed ports on the Apex) to control them individually, or you can do what I'm doing on mine and control one from the Apex using a single control cable, and linking the second light to the first with a male-to-male 1/8" stereo cable (an "aux" cable from Amazon for $5 works just fine). Set up this way, both lights are controlled simultaneously through the single cable.
That helps tremendously! Saves alot of money too
Thank you very much!!
