ive asked lots of questions and had lots of answers about this bulb
i finaly ordered a pair, got some bc lamp holders not the type that hang.
installed these, wired them up in series. and on they went.
i found at first they was too green, and i was getting annoyed with it but could see the effect they was having on my plants, and they started to bloom like mad with just the extra 40W.
last night i done a water change. and to my delight, the light seems to be very very daylight, and compared to switching them off, and just having the 10000k's on, the 'colour' seems to different. just more intense when they are on.
so what im getting at is, if you get stuck and bellywhipped with choosing cheap lighting and retrofit CFL's
these are the ones. but i do suggest useing with 10000k and 6500k that peak in the red and blue rather than green and blue which is what the GE's im describing are.
80-89 cri which now the water is clear i can see.
my cardinals look great.
