Hi Everyone!

This is my first post! I am new to planted aquariums and am in the process of setting up a new 50 gallon.

I have recently bought the 35 watt Fluval Aqualife & Plant Full Spectrum Performance LED Light. It is 36" has 2580 lumen and 5952 Lux at 5200 K. My question is whether or not this will be sufficient for a moderate lighted tank ? I have asked for PAR values and have been told this ranges from 0 to 200 based on depth.

Also, should I install a Co2 injector?

Your replies are greatly appreciated !

Lots of small LEDs.. ;)
You shouldn't "need" CO2.. but of course it is plant "fertilizer"..
assuming about 18" to the substrate your PAR may be a little low on the floor.
Fun light though..
moderate light sums it up fine. mod/low on the bottom..
Not sure anyone has done "independent" measurements on this light.

IVE GOT the fluval plant led 48-60 and its been on a 55g full co2
high tech (controller light and co2 ) ferts are the clay rutabs from getplantsnow (pebodys ) and they were growing out the tank so bad wife was trimming weekly and selling them . till about this last month my co2 probe went wonky and i stopped it til the probe comes in . so long story short the fluval led light (planted) works real well on medium light plants by adding 2 to a tank you will be close to high light .
