i have a big boy lighting case, capable of 2 bulbs.

currently it holds 1 40w pink bulb, do i need to replace this one?

i'm planning to add arcadia plant grow bulb, is this ok?

i also have a submerge 25w 6500K resun blub.

my setup currently is low maintenance planted tank. 75gal capacity. discus and neolamp brichardi are the main inhabitants. plus butterfly pleco and panda cory as cleaner.

plants are anubias barteri narrow, anubias congensis, jave fern dwarf, java moss, and windel0v.

I'm guessing the pink bulb you have is a bulb that came with the canopy you purchased. Many manufacturers include these "beauty lights" to help enhance the appearance of fish after upgrading from incandescent to fluorescent lighting.
The Beauty Lights generally make pretty decent plant bulbs, having some good red and blue output, with little yellow/green output. I'm not familiar with the Arcadia Plant Grow bulb you mentioned, but I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't notice much of an improvement in plant growth (with the exception of the first week - during which initial lumens output is generally around 50% brighter than mean lumens throughout the rest of the life of the bulb).
If the plants are growing well with the low levels of light you have now, I wouldn't worry about switching bulbs back and forth. Adding an additional bulb might help, though, and shouldn't require the addition of high-tech/high-maintenence equipment.
