Thinking of upgrading my light

I am thinking of upgrading my lights.
Currently I have Coralife 4x65w in one fixture. For about 6 months I was running the above fixture +Coralife 56W T5 fixture. Due to me constantly playing in the tank, and the esthetics I took off the small 54W fixture. This has caused the following:

1. Plant growth has dropped considerably. I used to trim the plants at minimum once a week. Now I can wait up to 3.5 to 4 weeks.
2. Inside aquarium does not look as lively, ie less light, darker.

What would you guys recommend as an upgrade? I am thinking T5's ? Is it a better bulb ove the PC? I would preffer to stay away form MH due to cost, and maybe an overkill for a planted tank. Please any suggestions, recommendations, ideas?

90 Gallon planted tank
Coralife 4 x 65Watts,
EHEIM 2028 filter
Automatic CO2 at 25 to 30ppm
Rasboras, neon tetras, SAE, plecos, torpedo barbs,
Temp at 82F
