Anyone try one of these yet... Lumia 100w LED chip

LED group buy released a planted version of their lumia 100w chip. Was wondering if anyone has ordered on or has plans to build one. See link below.

20L high tech journal
Fluval EDGE slightly modded, low tech

It appears to be deficient in red light. I'd also light the see a higher output in the cyan portion of the spectrum

They have 2 versions, your post copied their reef version spectral output.

Yep, noticed that too.. They don't seem to have one for the "planted" version though I'm not suspecting 660-ish red to be higher (same chip count I believe) but a larger hump in the GYR area..

Layout of reef version:

Channel 1 - Neutral White (base white spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 2 - Royal Blue (base blue spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 3 - Hyper Violet (enhanced growth) (38V @ 700mA)
Channel 4 - Deep Red / Turquoise (enhanced color spectrum) (32V @ 700mA)
Channel 5 - True Violet / Cool Blue (enhanced growth and color spectrum) (38V @ 700mA)

Layout of plants version:

Channel 1 - Warm White 3200K (growth spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 2 - Cool White 6500K (base white spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 3 - Deep Red / Royal Blue (enhanced growth and color) (33V @ 700mA)
Channel 4 - Cool White 6500K (base white spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 5 - Warm White 3200K (growth spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)

The red bump should be a lot higher because of the 3200K strings alone. It doesn't take much red either and blue can overpower whites very easily.

Well.. I was referring more to the 660nm peak but your basically correct.. and I was probably being a little generous in assuming little addition @660-ish.
Of course it would greatly depend on the LED itself..

Are you saying no spectral distribution graph is available for the freshwater led?

Would love to get some practical feedback on this. Would be really nice for making a light cannon.

It will however get pricey pretty fast when you add 5 dimmable drivers to that chip.

That's only $35 for 5x LDD-700's.

Would be nice to turn on warm whites then gradually increase cool whites to give a real sunrise/sunset look. With full blast at noon time.
