What would happen with 1000 Watts over 50 gallons? Well I'd bet on your plants catching fire (even under water) and your fish being poached. Be sure to pick something tasty like Tilapia. And put a little bit of Old Bay in the water.

Just having some fun.....

It would be kind of entertaining to see the narcotics unit bust down your door only to find a tank full of Glosso.....

The walls and carpet would quickly fade due to all the light leakage.

What would happen with 1000 Watts over 50 gallons?

Your electricity bill would double or triple tanks to your new fancy space heater.

Moved to Tucson.

1 bet 1000W would work on even a 20 if everything was in balance.. the sun is at least 1000W and there are a few rivers throughout the world with plants in them....

but, there is probably a steep learning curve.

But light don't have ultraviolet.

yeah epic, i was about to add... i think the main problem would be the heat, considering all else is well (might need a chiller)....
