T5 lighting question for freshwater planted tank

I recently picked up a Auquaticlife 4 bulb fixture from a buddy that was going to use it for a reef tank but decided to go LED. I'm using it for a planted 90g freshwater discus tank and I'm wondering about the bulbs it came with. Right now it's got 1 54w 10,000k Ardent White Aquaticlife, 1 54w purple, and two blue bulbs.

My thinking is the purple definitely needs to go in favor of a 6,500k grow light but should I ditch the 10,000k also? If so, what for?

And finally, I found some t5 bulbs rated at 6,500k on amazon for $7 or less. Are they any different than the more expensive lights I see in local fish stores and fish hobby sites?

I'm returning to the fish keeping hobby after a long hiatus so talk to me like a 3rd grader please and thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

What kind of lighting intensity do you want on the tank?

I once saw a discus tank with the following bulb combo and it looked amazing:

All Giesemann bulbs
2 - Midday 6000K
1 - Aquaflora
1 - Aquablue

I'll look into those. Thanks! And as far as intensity goes, I guess I just want the best look while maintaining the best light for fish/plants.
