Fugeray

Would a 16inch fugeray work well for a planted ten gallon. Or would you need more light than that

It all depends on how high of a light your plants require? what are your specs.

I run a fugeray on a standard 20 gallon with eco complete substrate and dosing seachem iron, potassium, and excel with the occasional DIY CO2 if i feel my plants need it

It should be plenty of light for almost all plants. Possibly a bit too much for not using CO2.

Well I'm using it on my 5.5 right now. Dosing seachem flourish, and excel. I won't use co2 pressurized or diy in my shrimp tank. Bt my floaters are growing like mad and my plants inside are growing pretty well. I was just wondering if I could use my 16 inch ray for a 20 inch long ten gallon tank. Because I have been tanking about transitioning my shrimp into a ten gallon tank so they have more room to breed.

I'm not sure the light would physically be long enough other than that I wouldn't see why not

I have my 16 inch on my new ten gallon. You can see pics of how it fits on my betta tank journal. I am hoping to get a 20 inch for aesthetic reasons but for my low light set up it will do fine until then
