52 watts for a 25Gallon? what plants?

What can i grow with 52 watts for a 25gallon? 810 lumens a bulb


dimensions 36Wx16Hx10L Inches


Java fern
Java Moss
Anubias
Crpyts

What else?

52 watts of what kind of light, T5NO, T5HO, PC, CFL, T8, etc. and what is the brand of the light fixture you are using?

52 watts for a 25Gallon? what plants?

Cfl and 27 watts is only 810 lumens? I have a 27w cfl that puts out 1800 lumens. But java ferns most crypts and Anubias will do great so will a lot of stems

yup because i made a fixture that runs on 4 bulbs so i decided to go with this. didnt want to run 96 watts on a 25 gallon. Tryna save a little money.


Will i be able to pull off stargrass? or any type of carpeting? and how about christmas java moss?

Assuming those are the spiral screw-in CFL bulbs, the amount of light you get depends on whether the bulbs are horizontal over the tank, vertical over the tank, with good reflectors, no reflectors, sitting on top of the tank, or suspended at some specific height above the tank.

Horizontal , spiral screw in cfl bulbs. Diy reflectors with aluminum reflective tape. Its a Diy Canopy fixture i still got alot of changes

I use mine vertically, 3 bulbs pumping over 2800 lumens each with good reflectors for temp lighting while I build my led fixture. Put them in a vertical 8 inch done reflector
