ADA 8000K 150w HQI Bulb (picture)
I have an aquapod (24 gallon). Its currently lit with 2-32W 6500k/10000k Power compact bulbs, but ive decided to get crazy and put a 150w HQI fixture on the tank. I purchased the 20" 150W Sunpod HQI lamp (with 12 Moonlight LEDs) but it comes with a 14,000k bulb. I want to change out the bulb but its really hard finding a 6500k bulb for this HQI fixture. I did, though, come across this 8000K bulb by ADA and wanted to get some opinions on it. Your suggestions and comments are GREATLY appreciated! thank you!

Actually, I found 14,000K HQI bulbs look pretty good... almost like pure sunlight. Have you tried the bulb out yet? I've posted a pic showing my tank lit with 14,000K (Coralife brand):
