I have an aquapod (24 gallon). Its currently lit with 2-32W 6500k/10000k Power compact bulbs, but ive decided to get crazy and put a 150w HQI fixture on the tank. I purchased the 20" 150W Sunpod HQI lamp (with 12 Moonlight LEDs) but it comes with a 14,000k bulb. I want to change out the bulb but its really hard finding a 6500k bulb for this HQI fixture. I did, though, come across this 8000K bulb by ADA and wanted to get some opinions on it. Your suggestions and comments are GREATLY appreciated! thank you!
Jeff Senske from www.aquariumdesigngroup.com swears by them..... They are specifically designed for plants. I cant see how you can go wrong. I plan to use them in the future myself. You can get them at www.adgshop.com
