low tech 40g breeder lighting
I am in the planning stages of a low tech 40g breeder. I am planning on doing shrimp and dont want to use ferts or co2. I am planning on using aquasoil for nutrients and a dual 20w t8 light fixture about two inches off the top of the tank for better light spread. Anyone with experience with low tech setups to educate me as to if this seems doable?

Just one reporter's opinion, though.
"Fear not my child, just change the tank water."
