how to calculate good light level?

Hi all,

I have a 60cm tank which is not very high or deep so is actually only 27 litres. It's somewhat heavily planted and I have Co2 injection, 1 bubble per second. The light I am using is:

I'd like to know how many hours of light I should use. Of course the aim is to have good plant growth and keep away algae.

Any ideas?

8 hrs./day is usually a good starting point.
