PAR values for odyssea 36 inch 4x39 T5HO fixture

Does anyone have this fixture? I see a lot of the 2x39 fixture but not the 4 bulb. Also if you do have the 4 bulb what are your tank dimensions? I'm hoping to use it on my 72 bowfront and get medium light. My tank is 25 inches tall not including substrate. The light also is sitting up on feet so it's at least another 3-4 inches above the top of the tank.

Has anyone ever measured PAR values for this fixture?

Your probably going to be in the high light range.

I had a 72" fixture which used 4 60" bulbs and i ended up raising it almost a foot off my 125 just so i could inject enough co2 to keep up, those fixtures put out a considerable amount of light, might try just running 2 at a time.. This chart will give you a rough idea but it's a little outdated (chart courtesy of Hoppy)

Thank you or the chart! Very informative....... Seems like this light is going to be perfect for me. I should be able to do medium to high ligh depending on how many bulbs I run! Next step is to make a CO2 reactor......

The odyssea lights do not use high end Ballast's so you will find it to be more medium lighting than high. I use a 18" on my 10 gallon, 2 tubes dont seem to be enough but all 4 is a little much. Hoppy advised me to use insect screen (the kind you place on your windows) and it reduces the PAR by 30% so i can run all 4 now and its just right.
