Osram 8,000K FL Question.

I went along to Osram and bought 4 NOFL 8,000k and I was wondering if this is ok to use in the planted tank? The specs are as follows:

Product No. L36/880 8,000K

Below are the specs and the spectrum from their website:

Can anyone tell me if this is useful? I believe it should peak on Red and Blue to be effective for plants which this one is not.

I'd appreciate any advice, comments before I use them.

it'll definitely grow plants...but those are some weak red/blue peaks (esp red) so I don't think they'd do as good a job as other bulbs.

You'd probably have issues with 'more difficult' plants...the ones that you have enough intensity to grow, but they may grow slow and stringy due to poor spectral output.

Thanks Malkore, I did suspect that after reading a lot since I got them. And today I put one on and I do not like the color it gives out, my rainbows do not look the same and the jet black mollies, look faded. So I'm not going to use them. Thanks again, this is all I needed to know.
