It's from my friends old tank. He ordered it offline from somewhere, and when he took his tank down, he took it to his work to sell it, and I snatched it up when I got the new tank.

35$ for a rather large bit of it

So did you modify the hood for the new lights or is the biocube now topless?

Hahah I wanted to wait for the new lights to come before I get more plants. I didnt want them dieing off on me. Most of the stuff in there is trimmings from my ten gallon, the only thing that isn't is the LG amazon sword in the back.

I am heading over to Neptune next week with my Manager to pick up some fish and plants : D

Shes also giving me her Crypt Plant

I bought it used, so the hood was already modified so there is nothing in it, no electrical parts at all, witch I do not mind, as I can not stand the sound of the fans, and I like this lighting a lot better than the stock lighting.

@Kitsune_Gem - I have a 29 gallon bio cube and the same exact light from an old tank that I want to put into the hood of my 29g bio cube. I was wondering if you could post another photo or video of your modded hood / tank because this one is broken:

Thanks a bunch!
