Im looking for a good 36 inch t8 for growing plants. I was in the pet store today and I nocticed the florosun among others but im a little skepical and wanted some advice from the people who know a thing or two about these things. I have a 29 gallon so what is the best possible 36" t8 out there?

I'm using those in 2 of my tanks and an ultrasun in a third tank. The FloraSun is 6700 the Ultra a 6500 So far so good. No CO2 and very little ferts

Dilution is the solution for the pollution.

A 29 gallon is 30" and most t8 fixtures for 29 gallon tanks take 24" bulbs.

I use 6500K Philips bulbs from Home Depot mixed with 8000K Aqueon bulbs.

The Philips bulbs cost ~$3.50

The Aqueon bulbs cost ~$12
