i just got a new 30g tank and a 30in 2 bulb t5no fixture wondering if i have low med or high lighting well maybe not high im looking for med lighting over this tank any help would be great was thinking about getting this light http://www.aquatraders.com/36-inch-3x39W-T5-Aquarium-Light-Fixture-p/52314p.htm but i dont want to much light that id have to go pressurized co2 as i cant afford it right now
so far ive got 2 diff var anubias, pygmy chain sword, bleheri sword, dwarf baby tears, micro swords, and dwarf hair grass. also looking to get a few stem plants down the road but at same time thinking of doing south american biotope
Thanks for this link, it may be just the light I need for my own 30 gal. Couldn't you always pull one of the bulbs if it's too much light? And the price looks decent!
I have anubias and java ferns on a stump and a crypt or two planned...
any of there lights will work the ony bad thing with that light for sure is the light it self is 36in so the legs dont actualy sit on the tank to raise the light ive had two of there fixtures in the past and had to take the wire legs off cause the fixture was just a little to long to use them if you where going to buy the hanging kit that would work to be able to adjust the hight of the fixture other wise be ready to figure something else out if you need to raise the light
I just got the light and I really should have ordered the 24'' size instead. This one hangs about 5'' over the end....
The return policy isn't the most friendly--pay to ship it back AND a 20% restocking fee......I do like the light though and may just keep it and order the 24'' as well.
Darn.
