30" fixture for low-tech 37-gallon (tall!)
My tank is 22" tall. (It's the same footprint as a 29 gallon, but 4 inches taller.)
After reviewing the PAR vs distance charts, it looks like I want either a single T5HO or dual T5NO for low/medium light. (I will be placing my fixture directly on top of the tank.)
I want a low-tech setup... no CO2 injection. I'm happy to use some Flourish, though.
There are one or two online sources which claim "in stock" for the discontinued Coralife dual T5NO that lauraleellbp uses on her planted 29. It looks like she's had very good luck with that fixture, but my tank is 4" taller. Hmm.
A single T5HO concerns me, too, because the bulbs are only 24" wide and I would prefer full-width illumination at the top of the tank.
Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction? Are there any other 30" fixture options I'm not aware of?
