In my 76\5 gallon I have shell dwelling cichlids, blue rams, cardinals, galaxy rasboras and so on. lots of color I wanted to pop. I have plants of all colors, light green, dark green, purple, red, orange, so on. So I wanted lighting that will help color but still be strong and beneficial for plant growth of high light needy plants. I found the Wave Point Ultra Growth wave. I mean, it literally has the ideal spectrum for plants. So from front to back:
zoo med ultra sun 6500k
zoo med flora
wave point ultra growth curve
zoo med ocean sun 10k
The color is....different. Not warm and sunny and not like a reef setup. My fish have details never had before. I am now just concerned about plant growth. Before I had 6500k 6700k 10k 6500k and I had good pearling. with these bulbs I see none.
